Level sensor with combined analog and switching output

Sensors & Transducers
IFM Electronic's LK range of level sensors is designed for continuous level detection in all kinds of vessels. The sensors are able to adjust to the respective medium without additional setting and to provide good resistance to many chemicals such as industrial fluids and oils. Only one unit is required for level measurement and limit level detection saving mounting and maintenance costs.
The sensors feature an adjustable analog output for continuous level monitoring and for transferring the measured value to a control system. The integrated LED display provides direct read-out of the current level. Process parameters such as 'empty' or 'over-spill of vessel' can be directly monitored by the switching output. Universal mounting accessories enable mounting in different processes with individual selection of the installation depth.
The LK range meets IP67 protection and the sensors are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity and overloads. Operating on 18 to 30 V d.c, the type LK has an M12 connector, an analog output of 4-20 mA or 0-10 V and an operating temperature range from 0 to 60°C.
