Pressure sensors with high overload protection

IFM Electronic's new PN 7060 series of pressure sensors feature high overload protection and are able to measure pressures up to 60 MPa (600 bar). They are particularly suited for oil or water hydraulic systems such as presses, surface treatment and cutting systems.

The PN sensors offer a choice of two switching outputs or one switching and one analogue output, and an electronic locking device protects the set parameters against unauthorised use. Offering long-term stability, the sensors are easy to set without system pressure, and both time and costs are saved during installation. A bright seven-segment display is used for local monitoring of the process parameters and the display can be rotated 180° when the unit is mounted head down. Housed in stainless steel, the sensors are resistant to shock and vibration and meet IP67 requirements.
