Meet the fastest ace of all times!

Sensors & Transducers
Basler’s most recent addition to its ace series consists of 28 models using the latest CMOS global shutter technology. They are equipped with sensors of the all new Python series introduced by ON Semiconductor as well as the sensors of the new Pregius line from Sony.
These ace cameras offer resolutions ranging from VGA to 5 megapixels and framerates of up to 751 fps. Their combination of powerful CMOS sensors, compact design and an excellent price/performance ratio makes the new ace models the perfect choice for a broad range of applications.
All 28 cameras come with Basler’s innovative and unique feature set PGI. PGI is a powerful in-camera image optimisation for colour cameras that improves the image quality significantly while having no impact on the framerate of the camera. It consists of a unique combination of a 5x5 debayering, colour-anti-aliasing, de-noising and improved sharpness. This leads to better colour representation due to a reduction of artifacts, like zip effects, or aliasing effects while also showing a higher level of detail.
Using PGI Basler cameras are able to handle demanding colour applications significantly better than before which gives customers the possibility to use cameras in their application that have a very attractive price point compared to previous solutions. This is especially useful for applications in the medical field, like microscopy and blood inspection systems, where an accurate colour representation is very important for the application in order to work correctly. Other good fits are enforcement applications in traffic or food inspection systems.
