The Telco Sensors Amplifier series offers a manual sensitivity adjustment via integral potentiometers located in the front panel of the amplifier. By adjusting the sensing range, the transmitter and receiver will detect a full or empty level through the glass bottles, plastic containers or PVC pipe. If the media is swirling around in the container or the sensor face is contaminated with flour, sawdust, liquids or paper dust, as another example, it will still detect accurately.
The Telco sensor series PAB amplifier (bus system) includes a common transistor alarm output and alarm indicators for each individual channel which is activated when: signal level is insufficient due to severe misalignment and excessive contamination; cable break of remote sensor; wiring or connection faults of remote sensor or faulty remote sensor.
