The biggest mining, industrial, machine tools, electrical and power trade show in southern Africa, and ranked as one of the world’s largest mining shows, Electra Mining Africa will be taking place from 12-16 September at the Expo Centre in Johannesburg.
The world-class trade exhibition will again enjoy the support of leading industry associations including the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM), South African Institute of Mechanical Engineers (SAIMechE), Women in Mining South Africa (WIMSA), Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), Lifting Equipment Engineering Association of South Africa (LEEASA), South African Fluid Power Association (SAFPA) and the South African Capital Equipment Export Council (SACEEC).
“We are delighted to partner with leading industry associations SAIMM, SAIMechE, WIMSA, ECSA, LEEASA, SAFPA and SACEEC,” says Gary Corin, managing director of Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery. “We look forward to the various conferences and initiatives that they are planning to take place alongside the show.”
Visitors will have the opportunity to view the latest machinery, equipment, products and services and will learn from the many daily live demonstrations. Powerex, an electric power and energy showcase new to Electra Mining Africa, will focus on power generation, transmission and distribution, application and renewable energy.
“The visitor experience at Electra Mining Africa is educational, enjoyable and greatly beneficial,” says Corin. “Electra Mining Africa will also host free-to-attend seminars which will see top industry experts deliver highly informative presentations.”
