Kobold Instrumentation’s SEN-96 is an electronic transmitter with ceramic sensor for air, gas, water and oil. It can be installed in gas distribution, hydraulic and high pressure water plants, as well as on gas bottles, refrigerators, compressors and vacuum pumps.
It is safe against overload, tolerates pressure peaks effectively and is ideally suited for use in hydraulic systems. Typical applications are compressors, pump systems and cooling circuits.
The handy SEN-96 is connected to the process with G1/4, G1/2, 1/4”NPT or 1/2”NPT threads. There are 23 possible measuring ranges available, which run from -1...0 bar to 0...600 bar relative pressure. There is a choice of 4...20 mA, 0...5 V, 0...10 V, 0,5...4,5 V ratiometric or 1...5 V analog outputs for signal transmission. Fast, on the spot information on the measured pressure is made possible by the practical AUF type plug-on display. Standard sensors meet protection class IP65. The wetted parts are stainless steel or ceramic, with FPM sealing material.
This compact and versatile pressure sensor employs tried and tested measuring principles with a thick film ceramic measuring cell and has excellent repeatability and reliability. The unit is ideally suited for use in industry in general, and specifically in gas stocking or machine production, light or heavy pneumatics industry, the refrigeration industry, and welding and vacuum applications.

Editor's Choice Sensors & Transducers
South Africa’s engineers operate at the intersection of resource constraint and industrial ambition. Few parameters illustrate this balancing act as clearly as water quality. Whether in municipal treatment works, food and beverage plants or mining operations, the ability to measure water quality accurately and continuously has become non-negotiable.
