The C6915 control cabinet PC extends the range of Beckhoff Industrial PCs with a compact fanless unit that features multi-core Atom technology from Intel. Thanks to the high computing power of up to four processor cores, scalable to match system demand, this unit opens up a new price-to-performance class for PLC and motion control applications. Offering a high degree of application flexibility, the storage medium can be a HDD, SSD or CFast card as required, and the computing power is scalable to match the demands of the application.
The C6915 is ideally suited for control tasks in the medium performance range, but also for motion applications and – thanks to the advanced processor platform – more complex graphics applications. This addition means that the benefits of the cost-effective, low-loss, and high-performance multi-core Atom processors are now available for the whole Beckhoff IPC range and as a C6915 or C6925 control cabinet PC.
