RJ Connect has announced the launch of its rugged industrial VOIP telephones, which have been designed to work in harsh and corrosive environments such as the mining industry, transportation, power and manufacturing plants.
The KNSP-16 VOIP PoE telephones feature a robust aluminium die-cast housing, with an optional spring loaded door to offer protection against the elements and vandalism. They meet IP66 and lightning protection requirements offering a level of performance and reliability demanded in such harsh environments. Other features include:
• Full keypad with memory, 10 button programmable speed-dial telephone.
• Magnetic reed hook switch.
• Power over Ethernet – no external power or battery backup required.
• Lightning protection to ITU-T recommendation K21.
• High anti-knock resistance, weatherproof, armoured cable.
• Hearing aid compatible receiver, noise cancelling microphone.
