Yokogawa is celebrating 100 years of contributing to society, and to mark the occasion there will be a cake cutting ceremony every morning at 12 noon. With the theme, 100 years of omotenashi, Yokogawa will be looking back to 1915 when Tamisuke Yokogawa, a doctor of architectural engineering, established an electric meter research institute in Tokyo. “In Japanese culture, the term omotenashi describes a service that is delivered above and beyond expectations,” explains Yokogawa South Africa managing director, Johan Louw. “It is the cornerstone that underpins Japanese hospitality and very much describes our attitude to business here at Yokogawa.”
On top of this, the brand new version of its flagship distributor control system, the Centum VP R6 is being launched, as well as the FN110 multi-protocol field wireless communication module device. Yokogawa is also offering a discount on training to all customers visiting the stand.
