Accurate rotational speed measurement with SKF TKRT 10 tachometer

May 2015 Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration

Fast, accurate contact and non-contact speed measurement of rotating objects and surface speeds is ensured with the TKRT 10 tachometer from SKF South Africa.

Equipped with a laser and a range of contact adapters, the tachometer uses either laser or contact measurement to determine rotational and linear speed. The instrument’s laser optical system ensures fast, easy non-contact speed measurement at safe distances of up to 0,5 m from the rotating machinery. The measurement range goes from up to 20 000 rpm for contact measurements using one of the three adapters supplied, to 99 999 rpm in non-contact laser mode.

The instrument boasts a number of operator-friendly features and the compact design makes it easy and convenient to operate using only one hand. The large backlit LCD display facilitates easy reading in almost all environments.
