Difficult applications that formerly required multiple conventional photoelectric or proximity sensors can now be tackled easily and at low cost with the IV series vision sensor from Keyence.
This camera-based vision system is used on production lines to differentiate and measure multiple product features simultaneously. Keyence’s customers use the camera systems to perform in process quality control inspections that are too complicated for ordinary sensors. The IV vision sensor is a less expensive alternative to a full vision system if all the capabilities are not needed. It is a user friendly device with autofocus, auto brightness and self contained lighting that enables quick and easy setup and deployment.
The IV series can be setup with either a dedicated intelligent monitor or with a PC and is available in several models for close up to long range measurement for larger field of view requirements. Clear images are realised with high-intensity illumination and the high-performance lenses that are standard equipment.
