BMG to host industrial productivity exhibition

September 2014 News

As part of BMG’s 40th anniversary celebrations this year, the company will be hosting the first BMG Expo – an industrial productivity exhibition.

“This two-day event will present a critical focus on productivity and how BMG integrates its vast product range and extensive technical services into tangible operational efficiencies,” says Dave Russell, director, BMG. “Working demonstrations at the event will include electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, lubrication and fluid control contributions.

“BMG will reveal how its total process solutions – from on-site breakdown maintenance and installation, to equipment optimisation – can influence the performance of a company’s productive assets and investment returns.”

Productivity and reliability improvement displays at the interactive event will offer practical solutions on how to increase output, reduce downtime, optimise cost per unit production and limit energy consumption.

Visitors will be shown how to boost plant productivity with BMG’s specialist services which include:

* Custom design and evaluation of products and systems.

* On-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and support with its field service fleet.

* Condition monitoring and preventative maintenance.

* Energy efficiency studies and recommendations.

* Practical customer training.

BMG, which has grown from a single Bearing Man shop, established in Durban in 1974, now has over 120 outlets throughout southern Africa. The company boasts 10 specialist divisions, with advanced technical skills to support its commitment to applying technical knowledge and depth of experience to maximise efficiency and profitability for every customer.

This industrial productivity exhibition will be held at BMG Park in Johannesburg on 18 and 19 September.
