Designed to satisfy the most demanding applications in severe industrial environments, Prisma SFP, part of the Spacial SF range by Schneider Electric, integrates with the company’s Prisma Plus functional system.
According to Jaque Maré, product manager for installation systems at Schneider Electric South Africa, Prisma SFP comprises specific enclosure models dedicated and optimised to receive Prisma functional units and bus-bar systems, horizontal and vertical, linergy and flat bars.
“Prisma SFP is a modular preassembled enclosure optimised to bring first rate Prisma Plus performance. It offers a unique solution in terms of robustness and functionality,” he says.
“Furthermore, Prisma SFP combines decades of know-how engineering and world-class enclosures with our expertise at developing prefabricated, modular, low voltage solutions that are acknowledged worldwide for their safety, dependability and simplicity. Everything we have learned about protecting people and their assets has been designed into Prisma SFP, so you can trust it to tackle the toughest commercial and industrial power and process control challenges.”
The Prisma SFP enclosures can be coupled with enclosures from the standard Spacial SF range to form mixed power and process control panels, and are available in various sizes:
* One height: 2000 mm.
* Two widths: 300 and 700 mm.
* Three depths: 500, 600 and 800 mm.
* All versions delivered with vertical uprights for direct fixing of Prisma mounting plates and accessories.
* Plain or transparent door.
Main features of the product include, IP55 in accordance with IEC 60 529, IK 10 (IK 08 for transparent door) in accordance with IEC 62 208, steel with epoxy-polyester painting – colour RAL 7035.
“Prisma SFP also allows the realisation of low voltage type panels compliant to the IEC 61 439-2 standard,” concludes Maré.
