Systematic Designs, a value-added reseller specialising in offering realtime solutions to its customers, is offering Tews Datentechnik's fieldbus and networking products.

Tews have a range of PMC (PCI mezzanine card) fieldbus products that are of standard single-width 32 bit PMC form factor. The PMC fieldbus modules have support for Canbus, Interbus, Sercos, LON-BUS, ArcNet and Industrial Ethernet.

The Canbus PMC modules have support for: 1, 2 and 6 independent channels, standard and extended frames, optical isolation. The TPMC316 product has support for extended temperature operation (-40 to +85°C). This product is used in conduction-cooled systems. The figure shows the TPMC316 - conduction-cooled PMC CANBUS fieldbus controller.

Tews has a range of industrial networking products based on Arcnet and Industrial Ethernet. "Tews PMC products have been used successfully in defence and industrial projects in Europe and in South Africa," says Systematic Designs' MD, Sean van der Walt.

Tews PMC fieldbus controllers available from Systematic Designs in PMC form factor include:

TPMC816-10 two independent channel extended Canbus.

TPMC901-12 extended Canbus with two CAN controller.
