Optical sensor series withstands hostile environments

The Telco remote optical sensor series are available in a wide range of housings that offer a high degree of tolerance to hostile environments. They are offered with fixed cable or plug connections and may be used in the through-beam (up to 70 m) or diffuse proximity mode (up to 3,5 m). Power and output monitor LED function is also available for use with any Telco photoelectric amplifier that has the sensor LED drive feature incorporated.

These sensors can withstand up to 30 g of shock and vibration from 10 to 55 Hz, at 0,5 mm amplitude. They offer ambient light immunity from 50 000 to 100 000 lux, depending on the model. Operating temperature range extends from -25 to +65°C, they are certified to sealing class IP 67 and have CE approval.
