The MK range of pneumatic cylinder sensors from ifm electronic has the trademark robust style but now features an integrated connector. The sensors are characterised by their ease of installation and universal fittings.
The MK range is offered as a DC PNP device or in a NPN version, complemented by two-wire and three-wire reed variants; all sensors feature a highly visible LED. The three-pin M8 connector conforms to the industry standard and is complemented by a wide range of mating connectors from ifm’s EVC series, which is designed for perfect compatibility. Standardising on these IP67 rated units for all pneumatic needs avoids the need to stock a range of varieties. Like their predecessors, the MK sensors drop into the slot easily with a snug fit and can be positioned and fastened easily and quickly using a normal terminal driver.
