A comprehensive drive solution

Motion Control & Drives
The Vacon series of frequency drives offers a broad power range (0,37 to 1500 kW) and a voltage range from 200 V up to a true 690 V. What this means essentially is that for many manufacturers there is a Vacon drive suitable for all their applications. With an entire facility equipped with the same drive technology, personnel have to learn to use only one Vacon control panel to operate any Vacon drive. This can save significantly in training time and effort.
The drives are built to withstand the requirements of the industrial workplace. Housed in a rugged metal enclosure, they are shock and vibration resistant, and meet the requirements of UL, cUL and CE. They are available in a complete range of enclosure styles - chassis IP00 and IP20, IP21 and IP54. The compact design and installation flexibility of the Vacon makes it a logical solution for new or retrofit installations. The drive may be installed vertically or horizontally, and the control panel can be remote-mounted, using an RS232 cable.
