The new gateways from ifm electronic provide fast connection from AS-i to Profibus. With a colour display and web interface, the status of all AS-i slaves is recognisable at a single glance. The quick set-up menu and intuitive handling facilitate installation and diagnosis. In addition, the web interface allows full remote access.
The flexible voltage supply ensures a low-cost integration into the application. The units can be operated via AS-i power supplies, DC power supplies or a combination of both. It is also possible to supply several AS-i networks via a single power supply. The AS-i gateways feature ultra-short transfer times and AS-i double address recognition, as well as a 45 mm colour display that provides clear diagnosis and setup. The Profibus DP interface has a certified DPVO and DPV1 functionality, while the AS-i masters conform to the M4 profile. Type AC1411 has one AS-Interface while type AC1412 has two. All types have an earth fault monitor and Profinet certification according to conformance class B.
