Protection for ADSL lines

ADSL provides reliable and consistent high-speed data transmission and is one of the faster methods for transmitting data and accessing a network. It is therefore a prerequisite for it to be fully protected against the damage caused by power surges. The low cost DPL10F range of ADSL line protectors from Copa is ideally suited for protecting 10-pair telephone lines against induced surges. Suitable for installation in Krone LSA-Plus disconnect type blocks, they provide 10 kA (8/20) protection. Miniature in design, the unique dual earthing system and low profile allow them to fit easily in outdoor enclosures.

The DPL10F protectors are suitable for use in a -25 to 80°C temperature range with response times ranging from <1 ns to <25 ns. Various versions are available, including an overvoltage protection plug for single balanced lines.
