Integrated, capacitive high voltage detector

The Capdis-S1+ from Kries is an integrated, capacitive high voltage detecting system according to IEC-61243-5, providing continuous three-phase voltage indication. No external power supply or battery is required for voltage detection and the device performs continuous online insulation measurement, making it completely maintenance free.
Capdis-S1+ includes a self-test, which offers inherent safety as no external test device is required. Optional broken signal lead detection is available. According to the LR specification in IEC-61243-5, the test point can be used for phase comparison and phase sequence testing. The integrated UO-interface provides easy installation of the IKI-EDI-W earth fault direction relay, as well as partial discharge monitoring.
Voltage is indicated by a half arrow on the front panel in the range 10% of UN ≤ U ≤ 45% of UN. Nominal voltage present and maintenance test passed is indicated by a full arrow, while a framed full arrow indicates that the function test is in operation. Capdis-S1+ operates in the -25 to +55°C temperature range and meets IP54 protection requirements.
