Enhanced sensors from Ashcroft

Ashcroft’s pressure and temperature switches have been designed for use in a variety of control, alarm and shutdown applications. Pressure switches can be supplied in either watertight or explosion-proof enclosures, the PD-N7 model includes both of these safety features. All temperature switches feature remote or direct mount bulbs, are constructed from sturdy stainless steel materials and can be used in most industrial and process applications with set-points available from -40 to 400°C.

Ashcroft dual seal flameproof pressure switches are enhanced with a second diaphragm barrier to ensure pressure media containment in the event of a breach in the primary sensing diaphragm. Developed primarily for the Canadian oil and gas industry, this safety design meets the requirements of ANSI/ISA-12.27.01-2003 and is available as the D2 option on Ashcroft types B700, D700 and P-series pressure switches.
