SAP Tronics designs and sells electronic systems for the mining and petrochemical industry with its niche in intelligent power systems designed to support automated lubrication systems.
An SAP power system contains hybrid power conversion technology that combines a highly efficient transformer with intelligent custom switching circuitry. The power system can be configured in the field to run off any of the standard supply voltages of 220, 380 or 525 volts, while maintaining a stable regulated output voltage. Its increased efficiency results in reduced thermal cycles and greater reliability and the custom designed logic has the capability to provide standard output voltages (12, 24 V) with a current output capability of up to 3 A.
The SAP system provides self diagnostic information such as thermal shutdown by means of multicolour LED feedback. Various methods of protection combined with the ability to provide high voltage efficient power regulation makes the SAP power system a compact and cost effective solution to common power needs.
