E+E Elektronik’s EE871 carbon dioxide offset sensor has a measurement range up to 10 000 ppm and very small housing dimensions. The digital E2 interface allows simple, accurate querying and processing of the measured values and individual configuration of the sensing head. Measurement is based on infrared technology (NDIR). It has a patented autocalibration process, making it maintenance free. Ageing effects are compensated for, ensuring long-term stability. Calibration data and other important functions such as linearisation and temperature compensation are stored in the electronics in the sensor tube. The integrated flange coupling allows the sensing head to be replaced rapidly without the need for readjusting the end device. A unique feature is the EE871’s low current consumption. The adjustable measurement interval allows the average current consumption to be reduced to less than 60 A.
The EE871 sensor is the perfect solution for battery operated devices. Typical applications for include greenhouses, fruit and vegetable storage, stables, data-loggers and OEMs.
