Mean Well has introduced the HLG-320H series to fulfil the demand for high wattage LED lighting applications. Featuring 90-305 VAC input range, HLG-320H series is not only fit for general 115 or 230 VAC mains input, but can also be operated from 277 VAC input in North America. The range offers five options (A/B/C/D/blank type) with different housings and selectable functionality. For A/C types, users can adjust the DC output voltage range from 90 to 110% and current from 50 to 100%. B type units are equipped with a three-in-one dimming function (1-10 VDC, PWM, resistance) and D types with a multiple stage timer dimming function that can be customised on request. The blank type has the basic features without voltage and current adjustment. For harsh outdoor environments, aluminium housings with stainless screws enclose the new 320 W LED power supplies.
The latest synchronous rectifier technology ensures up to 95% efficiency allowing cooling by free air convection only from -4 to +70°C. Applications include LED street lighting and high-bay lighting, outdoor electronic displays and LED decorative lighting. They are also good solutions for general applications in outdoor environments with high dust and moisture such as telecommunication base stations.
