Siko’s compact wire-actuated encoders with double potentiometer technology for reliable linear position measurement are now available from Instrotech. The SG32 can be used in a wide range of applications, even in difficult conditions. The measuring length is up to 3000 mm.
With the introduction of this new encoder range, Siko has set high standards in terms of flexibility, easy installation and safety. The encoders can operate in temperatures of -40°C and have a robust design that makes them suitable for use in wet and dirty environments. This ensures a high degree of protection and guarantees durability and maintenance free functionality. The devices have a closable aeration hole to avoid condensation. The special redundant sensors used to monitor the rotation of the drum provide improved safety. The SG32 can be supplied with various mounting options to suit application requirements.
