The encoders can operate in temperatures of -40°C and have a robust design that makes them suitable for use in wet and dirty environments. This ensures a high degree of protection and guarantees durability and maintenance free functionality. The devices have a closable aeration hole to avoid condensation. The special redundant sensors used to monitor the rotation of the drum provide improved safety. The SG32 can be supplied with various mounting options to suit application requirements.
