The new SQ volumetric flow sensor from ifm electronic is designed for low volumetric flow quantities in dosing water and aqueous solutions up to 200 ml/min. Flow and temperatures are measured simultaneously with either a switching or analogue output.
Designed for the food and machine tool industries, the flow sensor has a favourable price compared to systems currently on the market. The measuring pipe is inside the unit, offering high protection against mechanical strain. Connection to the system is made with a G 1/8 process connection.
Analogue, binary or pulse outputs offer various possibilities for processing the data. Volumetric flow quantities, total quantities or temperature are indicated by a 4-digit alphanumeric LED display on the unit.
The sensor operates according to the calorimetric measuring principle. The permissible temperature range of the medium is from 0-60°C. It is connected via a standardised M12 connector.
