Beka’s new Foundation Fieldbus indicators feature easy to read 20 mm high 5 digit displays, 31 segment bargraphs and can be configured on-site as fieldbus nodes or as listeners.
As a node, the indicator is configured via the fieldbus host and the instrument pushbuttons are used to select which pre-configured variable is displayed and, if required, to return acknowledgements to the host. As a listener, the indicator is not visible to the fieldbus host and configuration is performed via the instrument’s pushbuttons.
Field and panel mounting models have ATEX, IECEx, FM and cFM intrinsic safety certification permitting installation in most gas hazardous areas, the field mounting models also have dust certification. For applications in Zone 2 or 22, the BA444NDF has Type n and tD approval permitting installation without the need for Zener barriers or galvanic isolators which significantly reduces installation cost.
Accessories include pipe-mounting kits and stainless steel tag plates that can be supplied etched with customer specified tag and application information.
