Capable of recognising material combinations of paper, film, labels and thin metal film on a variety of different backing materials, the Leuze IGSU ultrasonic forked sensors ensure high processing speed and reliability.
The Leuze IGSU 14B sensor offers a range of innovative functions including an integrated self-monitoring facility that is capable of indicating errors during teach-in as well as operation. This permits intervention and allows timely maintenance to be carried out for increased process reliability.
Also unique is the new auto level control (ALC) function which provides for maximum performance reserves through optimisation of the switching threshold. This option is recommended if minor material differences are anticipated in otherwise identical label types. In this case, slight changes in the signal level are recognised and automatically assimilated.
The Leuze IGSU 14B features a more compact metal housing and its performance is characterised by high-precision processing speed coupled with short response time for admissible belt speeds up to 240 metres per minute.
