Hansford Sensors has introduced the new HS-556 and HS-557 series of sensor modules.
The HS-556 has been designed to operate with Hansford industrial accelerometers but will also accept inputs from other piezoelectric sensors. The compact unit provides an output of 4-20 mA velocity or ‘g’ signals together with a buffered accelerometer output with DC bias. The HS-557 module has a dual output, providing a 4-20 mA output for a temperature measurement range of 0 to 100°C sensed by either a PT100 or 10 mV/°C temperature sensor.
Both compact units are DIN rail mounted for easy installation in industrial enclosures where multichannel monitoring is required. They have internal 2 pole Butterworth filters and are operated by a 24 V DC power supply provided by the Hansford HS-570 module.
Hansford will be introducing further HS-500 modules in the near future to extend the scope of its measurement, alarm and control range.
