Thermodynamic steam trap with replacement seat

Spirax Sarco has announced its new TD120M thermodynamic steam trap. The trap is similar to the existing TD120 but now benefits from a maintainable disc and seat, which means it can be serviced in-line. This is of considerable benefit to customers with welded installations as the trap can be serviced without being removed from the line.
The TD120M has a pressure rating of PN250 and is generally used to drain saturated and superheated steam mains in the power generation industry. The range fully complies with the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and the traps are designed for use on Group 2 fluids (steam, air, and water) and are designated within the category SEP (Sound Engineering Practice).
