TDK-Lambda UK has introduced a 100 W model to its ZPSA series of compact PCB-mountable AC-DC power supplies. The new single-output ZPSA100 accepts a wide input voltage range and has low profile industry standard footprint, making it ideal for applications such as LED signage and lighting, point-of-sale equipment and test and measurement equipment.
The supplies are available with output voltages from 5 to 48 VDC. Offering a typical efficiency of up to 90%, these models are well-suited for operation in both convection and customer air cooled environments from 0 to 70°C. A green LED is provided as an indicator that the power supply is on, and other standard features include over-voltage and short-circuit protection. These supplies are offered in an open-board configuration with Molex input/output connectors.
