The new Durag D-LX 100 Compact Flame Monitor is one of the first systems of its kind to meet current European flame monitoring standards. The D-LX 100 was designed for continuous, intermittent and 72-hour operation. The compact design integrates the flame scanner and amplifier in a single housing, reducing the overall cost and simplifying installation. Additional costs normally required for mounting the control electronics in a service cabinet or separate housing unit are no longer applicable.

After start-up, the system performs a self-test, which is then repeated during operation. This continuous self-checking capability ensures safe and proper operation. The flames radiation intensity is converted by a semi-conductor photo element into an electrical signal. Only those signals are processed by the advanced dual-microprocessor system, thus flame monitoring is not influenced by ambient light. The flame intensity signal is available as an analogue output and status LEDs are provided for fault diagnosis.

The D-LX 100 is suitable for use in power stations, refineries, waste incinerators, steam generators, cement plants and similar applications.
