Mettler Toledo Process has introduced the new Inpro 7100 conductivity sensors, particularly suited to applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and pulp and paper industries.
The InPro7100 offers a wide measurement range (0,02–500 mS/cm, depending on the transmitter. The fast response time allows quick detection of process changes, leading to better process control. The shaft material PEEK, offers high resistivity against aggressive solutions and is particularly suitable in process with frequent CIP/SIP cycles. The InPro 7100 is compatible with a wide range of static (InFit 761) and retractable (InTrac 785/787) housings, giving the user a choice of installation options.
The InPro7100 sensor includes intelligent sensor management (ISM) capability which automatically communicates the sensor type, serial number and all calibration data to the transmitter when it is connected, for error-free ‘plug and measure’ startup. The InPro7100 is ATEX and FM compatible and can be used with the M300 ISM, M400 and M700 transmitters. Typical applications include chemical concentration control, control of CIP-processes, control of digesting and bleaching (pulp and paper) and detection of phase separation (food and beverage).
