Baumer has extended its product range with the FADK 14, its first red light LED distance sensor incorporating IO-link it is very well prepared for the future. Wherever distances have to be measured reliably and objects have to be positioned precisely, the FADK 14 is a good sensor to choose. In a measuring range of 50 to 400 mm it reaches a resolution of 0,1 mm. The measurement is to a large extent independent of the material or colour of the object. Moreover, the sensor is very resistant to dirt.
The high measuring speed allows the sensor to be used in extremely dynamic applications. The FADK 14 is available with two output versions – current or voltage. With the launch of this new sensor, Baumer rounds off its successful sensor series 14. From red light diffuse sensors to laser diffuse sensors for detecting foils; this series offers the user maximum flexibility.
