Adroit's new scada intelligence
April 2010
News
Adroit Technologies is in the process of announcing yet another addition to its software suite, namely SCADA Intelligence. This product will enable users to extract intelligence from raw data by connecting the relevant attributes of a process to the raw data, thus ensuring easy and informative analysis and reporting. Adroit SCADA Intelligence provides both a structured (hierarchical) store of quality information and the necessary tools for reporting and analysing this for informed decision making.
One of the advantages of scada is the ability to collect masses of raw data from field devices and store this in a standard SQL database. One of the biggest challenges, however, is the ability to manage and extract information from this raw data. Adroit has employed the latest in business intelligence technologies to allow its customers to extract more value from their automation investments. As pilots are currently implemented on various sites, some clients have already been able to gain valuable insight into their processes through the standard analysis and exception reporting offered in the product. Adroit plans to launch this new offering to the market within the next three months, and with some big names already on board it seems set to gain widespread acceptance in the industrial automation industry.
