Installing the TID10 with the TMT85 allows the user to view process variables and to set the IP address locally. Installing the display also enhances the TMT85’s capability to show self diagnostic error messages.
Incorporating a multitude of functions, the versatile TMT85 features dual sensor inputs for resistance thermometers, thermocouples and voltage, and is suitable for use with 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire resistance sensor technology.
The main benefit of the dual input feature is redundancy. Should either sensor fail, operation continues seamlessly with no downtime experienced. This dual channel functionality fits applications needing the highest level of safety, availability and risk reduction.
The temperature transmitter is Foundation Fieldbus-based and offers easy and standardised communication. The TMT85 is ideal for use in all critical applications that require signal reliability, long-term stability, high precision and advanced diagnostics.
The TMT85 offers ease of operation with built-in sensor monitoring and device hardware fault recognition. The product automatically detects the type of sensors that are connected, and is able to configure them accordingly.
