Ceramic measuring elements, combined with efficient electronics for increased accuracy, form the basis of the Keller 41 X pressure transmitter series with RS485 interface. The transmitters can achieve resolutions down to 1 μbar.
The Series 41 X has an electronically-adjustable scale for low pressure measuring ranges from 0–300 mbar. Subject to an extensive calibrating process, coefficients are recorded and saved in an EEPROM to be utilised for the electronic linearisation of temperature influences during operation. An overall error band of ±0,1% is typically specified for the temperature compensation range of 10-50°C.
The digital design enables direct linking of two transmitters for measuring filling levels in pressure containers and direct provision of the filling level (differential pressure) as a signal. Up to 128 transmitters can also be connected to a bus system via coupling modules and their data recorded for evaluation. In addition to the Read3o software provided by Keller, drivers are also available for linking to conventional data recording programs.
Conventional analog output signals, 4–20 mA or 0–10 V, can also be provided via D/A transformers if required.
