Instrotech holds in stock the Monitran MTN/1185 series general purpose accelerometer with 4-20 mA DC output proportional to velocity. With PLC interface the product is ideal for machine protection in applications such as air handling units, building services and fans.
Velocity ranges are from 0-10 mm/sec to 0-100 mm/sec (RMS). Frequency response is 2 Hz to 1 kHz. The accelerator operates effectively in the temperature range from –25 to 90°C with a temperature sensitivity of 0,08% per °C.
The casing is manufactured from stainless steel with IP67 protection sealing, and is available with a 5 metre braided cable as standard.
