Mean Well has introduced the new 75 W miniature high reliability AC/DC enclosed type power supply HRP-75 series. Along with the existing products - HRPG-150 (150 W), HRPG-300 (300 W) and HRPG-600 (600 W), Mean Well can currently offer options from 75 to 600 W within this single output product line with PFC functionality. Featuring low no-load power consumption, high operating efficiency, and miniaturisation, HRP-75 series reduces the size by 17,9% compared to the company’s first generation of PFC models, and operating efficiency has been increased by 9-11%. Vibration resistance has also been increased from 2Gs to 5.
HRP-75 series are designed for fitting 1U low profile (38 mm) rack chassis. Possessing up to 89% of high efficiency, it can be cooled by free air convection from -30°C to +70°C ambient with active PFC. These new power units fulfil the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current and also withstand 300 VAC input surges for 5 seconds to reduce damage caused by an unstable AC supply.
Suitable applications include factory automation, test and measurement equipment, electrical and mechanical industry, LED displays and all applications that require low no-load power consumption.
