Instrotech introduces the latest ToughSonic range.
The durable SENIX TSPC-30S series of ToughSonic sensors are designed for ease of use in tough environments and offer ultrasonic detection and distance measurement of target objects from 4,5 cm to 4,3 m.
Contained in IP68-rated 30 mm stainless threaded housings with potted cable, the units are designed to survive submersion and operate over a wide temperature range in indoor and outdoor applications.
Utilising the SenixVIEW software, users can select and adjust outputs including 0–10 VDC, 4–20 mA, sinking (NPN) and sourcing (PNP) switches plus serial digital data. Other user adjustable features include distance calibration, situation responses, time delays and filters. This functionality has been incorporated to eliminate the cost of extra hardware and simplify wiring requirements.
The TSPC range has been designed with standard interfaces for application flexibility and to reduce spares and stock overheads. Model options offer a choice of either RS232 or RS485 serial data interfaces for connecting to SenixVIEW software or other serial applications. Features are also provided for using multiple sensors in networks or in close proximity without crosstalk. In total, SenixVIEW software offers over 60 features to adjust, view, analyse, save and clone sensor applications, and can also update TSPC sensors with new features as they become available.
The power of smart maintenance for securing water supply Omron Electronics
Sensors & Transducers
The water industry plays an essential role in delivering safe drinking water and effective wastewater services to society and various industries. A lack of maintenance could have severe consequences, as even the failure of a single component can significantly impact operations, and maintenance expenses represent a substantial part of the overall costs of water and pumping systems.
