Complete pump protection solutions

Electrical Power & Protection
Where overload protection is already installed for a pump it can be complemented by adding the UCR 80 undercurrent protection relay from NewElec. The relays are very effective in providing load loss protection for pump applications or any other situation requiring the monitoring of motor load, for instance: the relays can be used to measure the efficacy of motors with regard to impeller wear.
On new applications the comprehensive pump motor protection type KC relay affords an excellent platform for effective protection that includes overload, load loss, under/over voltage and stall protection. Phase loss and unbalance protection as well as the optional capability for automatic restarting of a pump that has run dry after a user selected time period is also incorporated in this relay.
DIN rail mounted, these relays offer a very small footprint and low profile making them ideal for chassis mounting and they are equipped for remote reset, while diagnostic LEDs provide maintenance staff with the necessary information to clear faults.
These relays are designed for motor full load currents of up to 200 A, and are an ideal selection for the protection of pumps.
