What good is a miniature sensor when its plug connection takes up a lot of extra space? To make the best use of miniaturisation and its advantages, Baumer offers a complete range of very compact inductive sensors with M5 x 0,5 mm plugs and matching plug connections. This unique range includes both digital and analogue sensors in round or rectangular housings.
The small IWRM 04 distance measuring inductive sensors have a diameter of just 4 mm and a housing length of only 30. These sensors have a response time of 0.5 ms, a high resolution of 1 μm and measuring range of 0-1 mm, switching versions are available in a 24 mm body with bright LED status windows that are easy to see.
The IFFM 08 inductive proximity switch can easily be flush mounted in metal slots or cut-outs using only one M3 countersunk screw. The mating vibration-resistant, screw-mounted plug connection achieves protection class IP67, and is available in axial or angled versions.
