December 2008Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration
SKF South Africa has launched the new SKF Combi kit TMMK 10-35 suitable for mounting and dismounting of relatively small-sized bearings. The kit consists of high quality tools for mounting bearings with bore diameters from 10 to 35 mm and dismounting deep groove ball bearings from shafts, housings and blind housings.
The SKF Combi kit TMMK 10-35 consists of various components – a multipurpose fitting tool suitable for mounting bearings as well as bushings, seal rings, belt pulleys and other similar products. For dismounting of deep groove ball-bearings from blind housings and shafts, the SKF Combi kit contains a unique three armed puller. When dismounting deep groove ball-bearings from housings, a combination of the puller, sliding hammer and support rings enables easy removal of bearings. All components are clearly arranged in the kit for easy identification and selection.
SKF Maintenance Products division has more than 30 year’s experience in developing, manufacturing and distributing mechanical tools mounting and dismounting of diverse bearing applications. In order to ensure minimum bearing damage, each tool is individually designed for quick, easy bearing mounting or dismounting.
The TMMK 10-35 Combi Kit is suitable for a wide range of bearing applications including relatively small bearings (10 to 35 mm) such as the two-wheeler market and electrical motor re-winders.
