High efficiency DIN rail series

MEAN WELL has announced a new addition to the slim DIN rail product series. The SDR-240 is designed to meet the growing demand for higher power DIN rail supplies in the market. Featuring an efficiency of greater than 93% the units can provide 240 W continuously or 360 W for 3 seconds cooled only by free air convection. With built-in active PFC function, SDR-240 is a full input range switcher that fulfils the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic emissions. The slim design helps save space on the rail and also makes it 40% smaller in size than its predecessors. To fulfil the requirements of marine and semiconductor related usage, SDR-240 complies with GL and SEMI F47 standards in addition to UL, CUL, TUV, and CE certification.

Typical applications are found in factory automation, semi-conductor fabrication equipment, marine related installation, and electro-mechanical systems with mid-range power demands.
