High voltage detection

Dehn’s PHE/G DC voltage detectors are designed for use in electrified rail networks and in intermediate DC circuits with nominal voltages up to 7,5 kV. The electronic detectors have an integrated self-testing device that automatically tests the electronic circuit for correct functioning when the detector is switched on. The detector is only ready for operation if the function test has been carried out successfully.
Various models are available including the two-pole PHE/G II that is designed for testing unearthed intermediate DC circuits in electrical locomotives. The PHE/G I is a single-pole three-part unit for single ended DC systems.
The voltage detectors are supplied with four batteries housed in a separate compartment for easy battery exchange. Low battery conditions in the PHE/G I and PHE/G II models are indicated by permanent illuminated LEDs. All types are suitable for indoor and outdoor installations and for use in wet weather conditions.
Various accessories are available for overhead contact lines, construction machinery, cranes, electrical heating systems of railway points and for trackless equipment.
