* Laser scanning systems that can be used for applications like refractory wear monitoring and bulk materials profiling.
* Infrared scanners used for edge detection, slab centring and slab width control.
* Scanning pyrometers for temperature profiling.
* Capacitive and X-ray gauges for thickness measurement down to 5 μ absolute accuracy.
* Laser velocity meters that can measure the speed of hot products travelling at 240 m/s with 0,02% accuracy.
* Multiple wavelength pyrometers that can measure to 3000°C with 5°C accuracy.
* Heavy duty magnetic switches that have a 200 mm detection range for positioning work.
* Microwave devices for liquid level measurement in furnace torpedo cars.
ASC has a range of solutions for use in melting shops, continuous casters and hot or cold mills.
