RKC has introduced the AG500 Series digital process indicator, the latest in a programme of product re-development designed to achieve increased functionality and reduced size.
This digital process indicator is designed with a large 21 mm LED display that enables easy readability at long distances. The display has also been extended to 5 digits for increased resolution and alternating alarm capability has been incorporated. This allows the process value to be displayed under normal operating conditions and when an alarm condition occurs, the alarm and process value display alternately.
Up to six alarm outputs are available with functionality that includes adjustable time-delay and latching. The indicator also comes with analog signal retransmission capability for remote recording, data-logging and input to a scada system. The RS485 serial communications interface can be configured for either RKC standard ANSI or MODBUS RTU protocols. Additional features include:
* 24 V d.c. on-board power supply for 2-wire transmitters.
* Peak and valley hold functions.
* Offset biasing.
* Secure access password protection.
The 48 x 96 mm indicator has a short panel depth of 60 mm with a dust and waterproof front facia rated to IP66 allowing use in smaller depth enclosures to reduce costs.
