Versatile range of sensors and temperature controllers

March 2001 Sensors & Transducers

Datalogic, a European manufacturer of opto-electronic and laser technology devices, is offering a family of automation products. Datalogic sensors and controllers have been players in automation for 25 years. Datalogic strives to provide the best service and solutions for the needs of the automation industry.

Universal sensors make it possible to find the shape, optical function and connection or type of mounting necessary within the Datalogic range. Rectangular or tubular opto-electronic sensors are available as through-beam, polarised retroreflex, proximity and background suppression versions. A wide range of accessories, reflectors and fibre optics extend the universal sensors' application possibilities.

Datalogic also offers a good range of opto-electronic sensors for specialised applications.

Slot sensors detect every target that passes through their work area, colour mark scanners operate with minimum light reflection contrast and luminescence detectors identify invisible fluorescent targets by means of UV emissions.

Most of these sensors are microcontroller-based to provide the best performance in the shortest setting time.

The Datalogic automation products family also offers a complete range of temperature controllers. These products include: analog models, for the simplest and most reduced cost applications, microcontroller-based models which offer maximum precision and can be fully configured through a keypad, and nine types of sensors that offer the most advanced functions, such as PID adaptive regulation with autotuning, or a full diagnostic of the regulation loop.

Datalogic is represented locally by Ero Electronic.
