Vacuum and overpressure measurement with one sensor

The multipurpose PF/PI series of vacuum sensors from IFM Electronic have a measuring range from -100 to +100 kPa (-1 to +1 bar) and are designed for hygienic, pneumatic and hydraulic applications. Only one sensor is required for both vacuum and over-pressure measurement.

Meeting IP 67 and EHEDG certification, the type PF/PI are housed in high-grade stainless steel and the electronic locking of the set parameters offers protection against unauthorised use. With their high overload protection and long-term stability, the sensors are suited for CIP/SIP operation, and setting is possible without system pressure.

With their integrated switching output and analog output, or flexible M0 connection, the need for numerous sensors is reduced. A bright seven-segment display is used for local monitoring of process parameters, and the display can be rotated 180º when the units are mounted 'head-down'.
