Sensors & Transducers
High-quality, extraordinary features and an outstanding price/performance ratio make the M18 OG photoelectric sensors from ifm electronic suitable for almost all industrial applications. The extremely long ranges, from 15 to 25 000 mm, create new solution options for users.
The basic line is uses either through-beam or retro-reflective sensors fitted with polarisation filters. The adjustable background suppression is optimised using a scaling potentiometer. For hygienic applications OGT diffuse reflection sensors are available with ranges from 100 to 800 mm.
The innovative teach mode quickly selects the optimum set-up of the sensors for the application at hand, meeting industry demands for precision. The sensors are contained in robust, high-grade stainless steel housings for installation in harsh environments. The specified operating temperature range is –25 to +60°C, and an LED gives visual switch status indication.
